Neutral Zone, LLC and RinkNet announced a partnership

April 8, 2022 — Neutral Zone, LLC and RinkNet announced a partnership today that will combine two of the biggest brands in the hockey scouting community.

RinkNet will provide full technical solutions and support for all Neutral Zone scouts and Neutral Zone will provide RinkNet with data that scouts compile. Neutral Zone will enter game lines into RinkNet's new Press Room App, which are then published for use by all RinkNet users.

"It's a natural partnership," said Neutral Zone's Director of Scouting, Brendan Collins. "We are a hockey scouting service with boots on the ground covering every major hockey market in North America and RinkNet is the leader in hockey scouting technology. We can provide them with scouts all over North America in the rinks, utilizing the press room app, sending updates on injuries or roster information to better serve their clients. They provide our organization with the best scouting technology platform in the game that will enhance our scouting efforts and improve our product at Neutral Zone."

Launched in 2016 by Steve Wilk and Brendan Collins, Neutral Zone is a first-of-its-kind hockey scouting and news site which identifies ranks, and profiles NHL, CHL, NCAA (Div. 1 & Div. 3), Canadian Interuniversity Sport (USports) and junior hockey prospects from across North America. The innovative site leverages top-quality, unbiased scouts to profile players and track their progress over the course of their amateur careers. The company has grown to over 70 scouts, located in every major hockey market in North America covering both men's and women's hockey.

For nearly 25 years, RinkNet has been the go-to technology for scouts, coaches, and managers at elite levels around the world. Their client list includes the NHL, OHL, QMJHL, WHL, USHL, NAHL, CJHL, Agents and many others compiling over 4,000 users across the hockey landscape.

"RinkNet and Neutral Zone share a common objective," said RinkNet VP of Business Development Dan Halliburton. "We are both committed to delivering the best product possible to our end-user and we are confident this partnership will accomplish that mission and improve both our products. Neutral Zone's expansive scouting staff is in the rinks all over North America and will really help us stay on top of injuries, roster and schedule changes and information our clients rely on."

RinkNet was founded in 1998 by Jim Price. Over the years, the product has grown into much more than a scouting product, into a full-fledged hockey operations solution, and is the go-to system for every elite hockey executive around the world.
