The Position:  Senior Developer

 

What you will be doing

  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining software products, including web APIs, web front ends, shell utilities, and native GUI applications.

  • You will contribute to the design and review process of software products.

  • You will improve scalability, service reliability, capacity, and performance.

  • You will work closely with the IT Operations team to configure and deploy environments.

  • You will work closely with project managers, developers and stakeholders to design and develop applications.

 

The experience you bring to the team

  • 3+ years of experience in software development

  • Experience using C#, Typescript (and/or Javascript)

  • Strong SQL skills (MS-SQL or MySQL)

  • Experience using Javascript frameworks such as Angular and Angular JS

  • Experience in the design and implementation of RESTful APIs

  • Experience contributing to large-scale software projects in an Agile environment.

  • Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins

  • A passion for hockey

  • Experience using Go

  • Experience with developing applications that have streamed content.

  • Experience with cloud hosting such as Amazon Web Services

  • Experience with mobile applications

  • Experience with fintech services

  • Experience with ticketing software such as Jira
